I have been so busy with work I have been lacking in self-care. Although things are going well at work, we are only 2 weeks away from our first group, I still need to be more mindful of self-care. I understand just how important self-care is, because when I don't take the time for it I can tell in my work. I have been trying to find ways to make my self-care part of my daily routine. Like getting up earlier so that I have time for meditation before I start my day, or I try to make time before bed to do a mindfulness exercise. You notice I say "try". I haven't gotten into a routine yet. I haven't even really had time to blog as much as I would like.
So I need to focus on making self-care part of my routine, not just because of work, but because I am worth making time for.
